Itron Receives Prestigious Chairman’s Award from the Alliance to Save Energy

Award Recognizes Itron’s OpenWay® Riva Solution as Breakthrough Technology for Energy Efficiency

LIBERTY LAKE, Wash. — Sept. 14, 2017 — Itron, Inc. (NASDAQ: ITRI), a world-leading technology and services company dedicated to the resourceful use of energy and water, announced today that it received the Chairman’s Award from the Alliance to Save Energy (ASE) for its OpenWay Riva IoT solution for smart cities and smart utilities. Itron will accept the award at the Evening with the Stars of Energy Efficiency Awards Dinner on Sept. 14, 2017 in Washington, D.C. The annual award is given to an individual or organization that has shown exemplary service to the cause of energy efficiency. Past winners include IBM, Elon Musk and Johnson Controls.
