Itron and the i2O smart pressure management efficiency solutions help our customers solve non-revenue water (NRW) issues. NRW is water that has been produced and is “lost” before it reaches the customer—losses can be physical losses (like leaks), or apparent losses (such as theft or metering inaccuracies). While Itron’s solutions—like smart water meters and advanced data collection and management—tackle apparent or commercial losses, smart pressure management efficiently minimizes real or physical losses. For example, maintaining optimal pressure in a water network will reduce operational costs, optimize the lifetime of assets, reduce the risk of water main breaks, and ultimately reduce water loss due to leaks. I2O is the technological leader in NRW field and provides the most advanced and efficient solutions to tackle pressure issues in water networks.
