How much is the Knowledge Conference registration Fee?
Knowledge Conference Early Bird Fee before Sept. 20 is $1,195, after Sept. 20 the Knowledge Conference Fee is $1,395.

What is included in my Knowledge Conference registration fee?
The Knowledge Conference registration fee includes access to over 90 Knowledge Conference breakout sessions, and breakfast and lunch events on Monday and Tuesday. In addition you are invited to attend the Knowledge Conference Welcome Reception on Sunday, Houston We Have A Party event on Monday and the Knowledge Conference Closing Reception on Tuesday.

How much does the hotel cost per night?
Itron has negotiated a special rate of $227 plus tax per night, single or double occupancy. This rate is only guaranteed until Sept. 25, 2017, based on availability. Reservations received after that date may be subject to the Marriott Marquis Houston market rate.

  • Overnight self-parking: 25% discount will be applied

How much is the training?
To assist in getting the most from Itron Utility Week, we offer pre-conference and post-Conference training. This training is offered at an additional fee, based on the number of days for the training. To create the best learning environment possible, our classes are limited to no more than 16 students to one instructor. For this reason, class size is limited. Please register early to assure the class you are interested in is available.

The fee for the training includes laptops, if applicable, and training materials. Also included are breakfast and lunch for the training days.

  • Three-day class — before Sept. 20 is $1,495 (after Sept. 20 is $1,695)
  • Two-day class — before Sept. 20 is $895 (after Sept. 20 is $1,045)
  • One-day class — before Sept. 20 is $525 (after Sept. 20 is $625)

Can I use the discounted hotel rate if I arrive a few days early or stay a few days after Itron Utility Week?
Based on availability, Itron has negotiated the special rate of $227 plus tax per night for three days before and after the event.

How do I get to and from the Houston area airports to the Marriott Marquis Houston?
DCS has provided ground transportation service in the past—however, that service will not be available this year. Below are transportation options from both Houston area airports.

What does the guest meal program include?
The Guest Meal Program* includes entry into all Knowledge Conference general sessions as well as breakfast and lunch. In addition, guests are invited to attend Sunday's Knowledge Conference Welcome Reception, Monday's Houston We Have A Party and the Knowledge Conference Closing Reception. The Guest Meal Program fee is $125 until Sept. 20, 2017. After that date the fee is $150.

*Name badge is required for entrance to all events.

What should I wear?
Conference attire is business casual. Houston, We Have A Party is this year's Monday evening event. Wear your most comfortable and fun space attire.

What is the refund policy?
If you cancel by Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017, you will be refunded your registration fee less a $100 cancellation processing fee. If you cancel after Sept. 20, 2017, you will be refunded your registration fee less a $200 cancellation processing fee. We will, however, allow a registered attendee to substitute their registration for another employee at the same company. All cancellations must be received in writing. What are the conference registration desk hours?

When and where is the golf tournament?
The Itron Golf Tournament will be held on Sunday, Oct. 15, at the Golf Club of Houston. This 900 acre land was beautifully crafted with Cypress, Live Oak and Pine trees. Since 2003, Golf Club of Houston has hosted the PGA TOUR's Shell Houston Open with three great years on the Member Course and since 2006 on a newly crafted Tournament Course. Rees Jones, course architect, was instrumental with incorporating a beautiful yet challenging layout designed to test the best players in the world while maintaining a positive experience for players of all skill levels.

Past Shell Houston Open champions at Golf Club of Houston include Fred Couples, Vijay Singh, Stuart Appleby, Adam Scott, Johnson Wagner and Paul Casey.spa Breakfast will be served from 7:00 - 7:45 a.m. The shotgun start will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m.

What is the golf tournament cost and what does this fee include?
The cost for the golf tournament is $150. This fee includes green fees, breakfast, beverages and snacks on the course, and an awards luncheon. Club rental is $59 per person.
