February 22, 2023

I am excited to share that Itron has been named to Newsweek’s list of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Diversity, a scored list of the top 1,000 companies that employees say really respect and value different kinds of people.

At Itron, we continue to work hard to ensure a more inclusive and diverse workplace. Our placement on this list is an acknowledgement of the progress we’ve made and a reminder of the important work we have yet to accomplish. Diverse and inclusive workplaces are enablers to organizations that sustain high performance; allow every team member to thrive; accelerate innovation; and, importantly, continue to attract highly talented people. Our culture is vital as we strive to achieve our potential and fulfill our company purpose.

America's Greatest Workplaces 2023 for Diversity was developed by Newsweek in collaboration with a market data research firm and includes 1,000 companies that, according to employees, respect and appreciate people of different backgrounds, cultures and identities. The scoring is based on a review of publicly available data, interviews with HR professionals and an anonymous online survey of a diverse pool of employees at companies with 1,000 or more employees in the U.S. Survey participants were asked questions about corporate culture, working environment and other subjects at both their own companies and others they were familiar with. The survey yielded more than 350,000 company reviews.
