Itron is committed to privacy and the protection of personally identifiable information ("PII") related to Itron's employees, contingent workers, job applicants, business contacts such as customers, customers' end users, vendors, and the general public when it interacts with Itron's website, marketing efforts, or otherwise. Itron's Privacy team meets and exceeds all regulations and legal obligations applicable to its collection, use, storage, and disposal of PII personally identifiable information ("PII") in connection with its business operations. To demonstrate Itron's compliance, the Privacy team has adopted best practices set forth in the Generally Accepted Privacy Principles ("GAPP") framework, which is reflected in our privacy policies, procedures, as well as our use of standard contractual clauses in applicable data processing agreements. Itron is annually certified under the Department of Commerce's E.U-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and ISO 27701, an international standard for privacy information management. The Privacy team monitors state, federal, and international regulatory developments in real time using a variety of resources including OneTrust privacy compliance solutions, outside counsel briefings, and by staying abreast and ahead of rapidly evolving developments affecting its privacy compliance measures and obligations.
