Silver Spring Networks Recognized as a Visionary Two Years Running in Gartner ‘Magic Quadrant for Managed M2M Services, Worldwide’
Internet of Important Things™ Pioneer Positioned in the Visionaries Quadrant for the Second Consecutive Year for its ‘Completeness of Vision’ and ‘Ability to Execute’
San Jose, CA – October 26, 2017 – Silver Spring Networks, Inc. (NYSE: SSNI) today announced that it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. as a Visionary for the second consecutive year in the Gartner ‘Magic Quadrant for M2M Services, Worldwide’.Gartner evaluated 21 companies based on their ‘completeness of vision’ and ‘ability to execute’ in the global market of Managed M2M Services. The Gartner ‘Magic Quadrant for Managed M2M Services, Worldwide’ defines the Managed M2M Services as “enabling connectivity, compute and decision services that are necessary for connected solutions.” This is often categorized as the Internet of Things (IoT), digital businesses and operational technology systems in industrial environments.
