A New User’s/Manager’s Introduction to MetrixND® For new and novice users. This session will provide an overview of the forecast model-building process and basic functionality of MetrixND. Topics will include:
Load Research Methods and Applications with AMI Data This workshop provides an overview of load research processes and methods. We'll demonstrate mean per unit, combined ratio and separate ratio methods using the Itron Load Research System. Data requirements for each method and calculation results will be compared. The workshop will include an overview of the role of load research data with AMI. At the conclusion, attendees will understand the fundamental load research calculation methods and will have an understanding of the operation and features of LRS. Class size limit 20
MV-RS® Basic Operations
This two-day, hands-on class is designed for operators, lead meter readers, supervisors or anyone who is new to the MV-RS environment or needs to know basic operational applications of the MV-RS system. Learn what MV-RS can do and how to perform daily operations through hands-on lab exercises. Also, learn basic meter reading functions on the G5 and FC200 handheld computers. Prerequisites: Attendees should have at least one month exposure to meter reading operations, basic familiarity with meter reading terminology and Windows® interface application. Class size limit 16
MV-RS Troubleshooting This two day course is designed for system administrators, IT staff or MV-RS administrators who are responsible for providing primary support to their MV-RS users. This hands-on workshop will walk through common scenarios in the life of a route, with tips for troubleshooting through each scenario. Prerequisites: Attendees should have at least six months experience with the MV-RS application, understanding of its terminology and/or completed MV-RS Basic Operations and Administration courses. Class size limit 16
MV-RS Administration and Optimization
This two-day, hands-on class is designed for MV-RS system administrators interested in learning more about the advanced system functions of their MV-RS meter reading system. We’ll review key system functionality and ways to optimize daily operations. Topics covered include advanced system configuration, parameters, security, automation and ongoing file cleanup. Prerequisites: Attendees should be familiar with MV-RS and have at least six months experience with the application, an understanding of the terminology and/or completed MV-RS Basic Operations course. Class size limit 16
MV-RS Radio Reading This one day hands-on class is designed for MV-RS operators who are interested in learning how to set up their MV-RS systems in order to read radio, ERT-enabled meters. Learn what steps are required in MV-RS setup for: Also, learn what radio-related reports are available, their purpose and content.
Prerequisites: Attendees should have a good understanding of MV-RS operations or have already completed the MV-RS Basic Operations course. At least one month exposure to meter reading operations, basic familiarity with meter reading terminology and windows interface application are preferred. Class size limit 16
Water and Gas ERT Troubleshooting and Management This one day course is designed for meter readers, installers, field personnel, MV-RS operators and supervisors who are responsible for providing support to their water and/or gas ERT-enabled meter reading system. This hands-on workshop will walk through common day-to-day activities with your AMR meter reading system. Also, how to load the configuration file onto the FC200 and how to set up the FC200 to obtain the best response for your RF conditions. In addition, the course will cover how to use Endpoint-Link to reprogram and interrogate ERTs in the field. We will review a “Day in the Life” of water and gas ERTs and focus on topics such as ERT functionality, installation procedures, troubleshooting, auditing, investigating, performance metrics and tampering. Prerequisites: No prerequisites are required as the topics will cover beginner-use. Class size limit 16 for each day
Advanced Mobile Solutions This one-day, hands-on class is designed for experienced Mobile Collector users interested in learning more about the advanced system functions of their Mobile Collection System. We’ll review key system functionality and ways to optimize daily operations. Topics covered include mapping, route management and troubleshooting. Prerequisites: Attendees should be familiar with Mobile Collector and have at least six months experience with the application and an understanding of the terminology.
