Itron Users’ Forums

Fixed Networks (Water Fixed Network and FN 2.0) Users' Forum

The Fixed Networks Users’ Forum is designed to give current users the chance to meet with other users as well as the Itron Product Management team. This meeting allows users to have their ideas and interests addressed. The meeting consists of status on upcoming releases, plans specific to water and energy markets, identification of future product enhancements and tips and tricks that all users should know.

Space is reserved for Fixed Network & Water SaveSource (previously Water Fixed Network) customers only and is limited to 30 attendees.

Itron Enterprise Edition™ (IEE) Curtailment Manager Users’ Forum

IEE Curtailment Manager licensed users are invited to join Itron product management in a conversational setting to discuss demand response trends, learn about features planned in upcoming releases, and discuss changes in demand response programs and participation levels with regard to AMI, the Smart Grid, and the drive for personalization and other business pressures. Also Itron product management solicit your input on the need for and feasibility of a multi-vendor demand response control system for large scale mass market deployments.

The IEE Customer Care Users’ Forum is designed to give current users the chance to meet with other users as well as the Itron product management team. The meeting provides the status of upcoming releases; plans specific to water, gas and energy markets; identification of future product enhancements; and review of supplemental IEE products that compliment the IEE Customer Care solution, including Revenue Protection Suite and Mass Market Customer Care.

Itron Enterprise Edition ™ (IEE) Meter Data Management (MDM) Users’ Forum

IEE MDM licensed users are invited to participate in this focused session, keeping you abreast of future product direction and further releases for IEE MDM, IEE C&I, and IEE Mass Market for both AMR and AMI deployments. Join us for an open discussion of our products as they exist today and where we are taking them for the future. This will be an interactive session where we will solicit your feedback for updates to the meter data management product line.

MV-RS® Users’ Forum

The MV-RS Users’ Forum is designed to give current MV-RS users the chance to meet with other MV-RS users as well as Itron product management, service and engineering groups. The meeting begins with a quick review of previous forum results and status of all enhancement ideas that have been generated. The largest amount of time is spent as an open forum for improvement ideas to be included in future MV-RS releases. The day ends with all participants voting on the priority of these enhancements to be included in future releases. This forum is a great way for users to have direct involvement in the future direction of MV-RS.

Service Link™ Users’ Forum

The Service-Link Users’ Forum is designed to give current users the chance to meet with other Service-Link users as well as the Itron product management group. This users’ forum consists of four main topics:

  1. Status of upcoming releases
  2. Discussion of current product issues
  3. Identification of future product enhancements
  4. Prioritization of future enhancements and problem fixes.

This users’ forum is a great way for users to contribute to the future direction of Service-Link.

Electricity Metering Training

Electricity Metering Training - Basic

Learn the basics of our latest end-to-end solutions in Itron’s meter and data management software. Itron’s Electricity Metering Training will provide you with an opportunity to learn basic concepts in metering, characteristics of different meter forms and information on software packages available for Itron electricity metering. This course is designed to show you that the Itron family of metering products is supported by a software package that is reliable and easy- to-use. This training will also outline types of metering applications specific to each market.

Electricity Metering Training - Advanced

Expand your programming and meter data management skills with advanced systems training on Itron’s meter and data management software. Itron’s programming experts will empower you to better serve your customers and protect your bottom line. We will teach you advanced level programming skills required to maximize using the complete support package for the Itron family of metering products including:

  • Meter configuration and diagnostics
  • Data acquisition and analysis
  • Voltage and power quality analysis

Training includes hands-on labs that will provide experiences with using Itron meter programming tools. You will use these tools to create meter program files, program meters and troubleshoot and diagnose meter issues. Meter programming systems give you the flexibility to program, monitor and maintain the Itron family of metering devices.

MV-90 xi Seminars

MV-90 xi: A Day in the Life of an Operator (Basic)

This session provides information about the MV-90 xi product and day-to-day operations. The task-to-task relationships, as well as, task-to-database relationships for MV-90 xi will be presented. The session will help the MV-90 xi user better understand how the system works and in turn help with future system troubleshooting.

Attendees of this class should be familiar with the operations of the MV-90 xi product.

The class is limited to 75 attendees.

MV-90 xi: Flexible Export (Advanced)

This session provides information about how to configure and use the MV-90 xi flexible export program. Demonstrations outline the functionality of the flexible export setup in MV-90 xi, as well as its task-to-transfer database relationships. The session will help the MV-90 xi user better understand how to setup and review the configuration of the flexible export templates that are needed to export the user’s data in the formats that are created by the templates.

Attendees of this class should be familiar with the export (manual and automatic) operations of the MV-90 xi product.

MV-90 xi: Introduction to Client Server Upgrade (Technical)

MV-PBS: Formula Calculator – Beginner

MV-PBS: Product Formula Troubleshooting and Debugging

This class will cover the process of troubleshooting and debugging product formulas configured in MV-PBS for retrieving metered data, calculating billing determinants and creating price extensions. This course is an extension of the Formula Calculator - Beginner course and covers the operation of the Formula Builder and the Formula Debugger for building product formulas, verifying proper product formula syntax, and viewing and verifying the results of product formulas.
