General Information
What to Wear
All events at the Itron Users’ Conference are business casual. Please plan to bring
a light sweater or jacket, as the conference rooms, as well as evenings outside,
can be cool. The Networking Reception will be held inside. The Denim and Diamonds
Special Event will be held at the Circle R Ranch and we will be both inside and
outside so bring comfortable boots or shoes.
Transportation
Super Shuttle offers a direct shuttle to the Gaylord Texan Resort. Itron has negotiated
a round trip fee of $20.00. To schedule your Super Shuttle reservation, please click
here. We would like to encourage everyone to make their reservations prior to arriving
at the Dallas/Ft. Worth airport. To designate the Super Shuttle van you should take,
we will also have an Itron sign in the window of the shuttle for your convenience.

Knowledge Center
What better place to make a connection than the Itron Users’ Conference Knowledge
Center? Whether it’s advanced demonstrations, fascinating visual displays, hands-on
experiences or one-on-one conversations with Itron representatives—the Itron Users’
Conference Knowledge Center offers connections to all this and more.
This is the best downtime you can spend. We do “what-if” scenarios, matching your current system with enhancements, helping connect you with your vision for the future. It’s an interactive guide to Itron’s purpose and product line; we welcome you to stop by throughout the conference to ask questions and connect firsthand with Itron’s advanced metering, data collection and utility software solutions.
Partner Pavilion
The Itron Users’ Conference Partner Pavilion offers attendees the opportunity to
make a connection with Itron’s trusted partners; it acts as an avenue for discussing
their organizations and solutions with conference attendees. Based on your feedback,
this year the Partner Pavilion will be incorporated into the Knowledge Center and
both will be open to all attendees during the same hours.

Guests
The 2008 Itron Users’ Conference activities are open only to registered attendees
with conference badges. If you are planning to bring a guest/spouse, there is a
separate registration fee for them. Please look under the Activities tab to get
further information on this program. Children under the age of 21 can not be allowed
attendance at the Networking Reception being held Sunday, October 19 or Denim and
Diamonds Special Event being held Monday, October 20 due to liability issues.
Badges
Your conference name badge will identify you to the conference staff, security staff
and others who are providing services for you. Your badge must be visible and worn
to all conference sessions, meal functions and evening events. Badge sharing is
not permitted. To obtain your 2008 Itron Users’ Conference badge, you will be required
to present your photo ID (driver’s license or passport). Each registered attendee
will only be permitted to pick up his/her own badge.
Badge Scanning
The 2008 Itron Users’ Conference will be utilizing badge scanners as you enter all
conference events that will include general sessions, breakout sessions and evening
events. We have implemented this process to allow our Itron Users’ Advisory Board
the ability to analyze attendance and get pertinent information on session popularity.
Information gathered with these scanners helps us to plan meal, hotel and conference
room requirements for future conferences.
