In addition to its small size, light weight and easy-to-hold shape, the G5 handheld
computer delivers high meter-reading performance and processing speed. When equipped
with its 900MHz full-duplex radio, the G5 utilizes the latest digital signaling
and correlation technology to slice through noise levels and search out ERT messages
through a panoramic 7 MHz window. The G5 features a 33 MHz 486 processor, 8 megabytes
of DRAM and 32 megabytes of non-volatile Compact Flash memory.
The Itron Field Collector 200 (FC200) is a versatile, ergonomic, ultra-rugged and
environmentally immune handheld computing solution. Designed to operate in demanding
environments, the FC200 is ideal for mobile workforces. It also meets the critical
demands of mobile field workers, supporting the best drop specification, operating
temperature range and sealing rating in the industry. The system supports the full
range of communications technologies and has a generous battery life.
A multitude of standard interfaces (including serial, USB, infrared, Ethernet, Compact
Flash), plus the ability to integrate both 802.11B wireless LAN/Bluetooth and ERT
Radio or Wireless WAN technology into the unit simultaneously, enables the FC200
to be configured for a variety of mission-critical mobile computing applications,
including automatic meter reading, asset management, inspections and field service

VIENA is an inexpensive, easy-to-use software application for smaller utilities.

The 50W endpoint module for indoor water meters is the data collection endpoint
device for Itrons radio-based handheld, mobile AMR and network AMR systems.
It supports protocols from all major water meter manufacturers and can be programmed
to communicate with Itron meter reading technologies in either "wake-up" or "bubble-up"
modes. It can be connected directly or remotely to indoor water meter registers
and can be installed indoors or outdoors, above grade.
The 50W-2 endpoint module extends the benefits of automatic meter reading technology
