Itron products are sold in Cyprus by a distributor. Only the distributor can act
as the importer of the equipment
into Cyprus. Thus the distributor has the legal responsibility
to:
Register as the WEEE producer in Cyprus.
Finance arrangements for collection and recycling
of WEEE arising from Itron products that the distributor
sells in Cyprus.
