G5/G5R 900

In addition to its small size, light weight and easy-to-hold shape, the G5 handheld
computer delivers high meter-reading performance and processing speed. When equipped
with its 900MHz full-duplex radio, the G5 utilizes the latest digital signaling
and correlation technology to slice through noise levels and search out ERT messages
through a panoramic 7 MHz window. The G5 features a 33 MHz 486 processor, 8 megabytes
of DRAM and 32 megabytes of non-volatile Compact Flash memory.

FC200

The Itron Field Collector 200 (FC200) is a versatile, ergonomic, ultra-rugged and
environmentally immune handheld computing solution. Designed to operate in demanding
environments, the FC200 is ideal for mobile workforces. It also meets the critical
demands of mobile field workers, supporting the best drop specification, operating
temperature range and sealing rating in the industry. The system supports the full
range of communications technologies and has a generous battery life.
A multitude of standard interfaces (including serial, USB, infrared, Ethernet, Compact
Flash), plus the ability to integrate both 802.11B wireless LAN/Bluetooth and ERT
Radio or Wireless WAN technology into the unit simultaneously, enables the FC200
to be configured for a variety of mission-critical mobile computing applications,
including automatic meter reading, asset management, inspections and field service
management. The optional full-duplex Itron radio allows users to install, programme,
and read meters equipped with Itron ERT modules remotely and automatically.

Mobile Collection
Mobile Collector

Itron’s Mobile Collection System operates from any size vehicle and gathers
information from Itron ERT modules installed on gas, electric and water meters.
The portable MC1 can read up to 24,000 meters a day or up to 100,000 meters when
reading multiple routes simultaneously. The system includes a transmitter, receiver
and data acquisition computer to store meter-reading data.

Fixed Network
Fixed Network 2.0

metering devices. MV-90 xi supports data validation and editing with a variety of

VIENA

VIENA is an inexpensive, easy-to-use software application for smaller utilities.
It is designed specifically to help water, electric, and gas utilities collect data
from the field and integrate it into other systems. VIENA’s User Job programming
feature can expand the system’s capabilities to suit individual operations
and particular needs. VIENA offers extensive management reporting, meter probing
support and drag-and-drop route allocation.

Radio-based Endpoints - Water
50W Endpoint Module
Service Type: Water
The 50W endpoint module for indoor water meters is the data collection endpoint
device for Itron’s radio-based handheld, mobile AMR and network AMR systems.
It supports protocols from all major water meter manufacturers and can be programmed
to communicate with Itron meter reading technologies in either "wake-up" or "bubble-up"
modes. It can be connected directly or remotely to indoor water meter registers
and can be installed indoors or outdoors, above grade.

50W-2 Endpoint Module

The 50W-2 endpoint module extends the benefits of automatic meter reading technology
to pit-set water meters. It supports protocols from all major water meter manufacturers

DAO–Distribution Asset Optimisation

Itron’s DAO solution uses an engineering basis for predicting transformer loading
to provide the difficult-to-get data on loading and flows of feeder breakers or
gas mains. This improves decision making, especially for expensive capital projects,
system operations and asset utilisation. Itron’s DAO solution calculates the
power flowing through each distribution transformer by reconciling hourly SCADA
data at the substation with end-use customer data, using either interval or monthly
customer billing data.
